Welcome to all worshiping with us today, especially those of you who are guests among us. We hope you will make yourselves known to those sitting near you by signing the Registration pad. Once it has passed to the far end of the row, please pass it back to where it started. Immediately after the service, please introduce yourself to Pastor Kevin or someone from the welcome committee wearing sashes on their nametags.

Children and Sunday School: Children are welcome in worship. We also provide childcare during the 10:00 AM worship service. CHANGE FOR CHANGE and ADVENT READINGS
An Advent calendar with a twist! This calendar will take you through your home and Scripture each day as we journey closer to Christmas. Rather than a sweet treat, each day will give you a taste of Scripture and surprise you with how many gifts surround you every day! Pick up your calendar today or anytime throughout Advent on the table in the narthex..

Remember our Troups:  Starting November 5th you will have the chance to send a holiday card to service persons at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and Ramstein AFB in Germany. You may use your own cards or some will be provided on the table in the Narthex. There is no
way to know if your card will go to a male or female, so please be generic with your writing. Deadline is December 10th. DO NOT SEAL the envelopes. Kindly place your cards in the basket. Our efforts provide comfort and encouragement to the troops and their family members.
Also, if anyone has new cards to spare and is willing to donate them to the cause for future years, kindly place them on the desk in the main office. Thank you..

Missions

Special Thanksgiving Offering for UMCOR Hurricane Relief
UMCOR has been aiding families affected by natural and man-made disasters around the world since 1940 and is noted for these three hallmarks:
1. One hundred percent of all funds collected for UMCOR are dedicated to relief
2. UMCOR provides assistance in areas that do not get much media attention and
3. UMCOR remains until the job is done.
Grace UMC has already given generously to UMCOR relief efforts. However, the need is unprecedented. Puerto Rico was utterly destroyed and many are still without power. The recovery effort will be measured in years. May we respond freely to the Lord with gratitude and humbleness born of a giving God. Thank you for sharing your blessings and bounty that others might have life.

Ruby's Pantry. Food distribution will take place on Monday December 19th, at Glendale UMC in Savage.  Volunteers can just show up at Glendale anytime between 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. to help for a few minutes or for a few hours. If you have any questions, please call Lynn Kilian at 651-315-1647 or go to glendalechurchumc.org/index.php/rubys-pantry.

Ruby’s Pantry is a non-profit organization that gathers food donations from local retailers and brings them to their distribution sites over Minnesota and Wisconsin. For more information on Ruby’s Pantry’s Mission.
How it works:  Every 3rd Monday of each month Glendale’s sanctuary & fellowship hall are turned into a distribution site. Registration begins at 4:30 PM and runs until 6:00 PM.

Annual 360 Communities ~ Armful of Love: Display now in the Narthex
Please take a look at the silver tree next to the podium!! We are sponsoring three families and each family has its own color tag. A number of tags were taken last Sunday, but there are still some remaining. Once you have purchased the items, please bring them back to the church unwrapped, with the colored tag on the item. If you have a box for your item, that would be appreciated. The last possible date to bring your item is Sunday, November 26th.

Thank you to all who have taken a tag from the tree. Once you have purchased the items, please bring them back to the church unwrapped, with the colored tag on the item. If you have a box for your item, that would be appreciated. The last possible date to bring your item is Sunday, November 26th. You can place them in the narthex in the corner by the front windows.
We are looking for help wrapping presents on Wednesday, November 29th at 6:00 p.m. in the Narthex. Also if anyone is available to deliver the gifts to ShopJimmy.com in Burnsville off of Highway 13 on either Friday, December 1st (10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) or Saturday December 2nd (10:00 a.m – 2:00 p.m.) that would be helpful.

RUTH VOLL Christmas Brunch.  Friday, December 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the Home of Vicky Kline.

Apple Pie Sales
We would like to thank all those who bought apple pies from us on Sunday, November 19th. Because of your generous support we made over $500 for our local missions. We will be supporting Emma Norton in St Paul, Lewis House (for battered women) in Eagan, Simpson Shelter in Minneapolis, Dakota County 360 Communities, and of course our church.
Thank you again so much.
We also say a huge thank you to all the women who came to help make the pies on Saturday, November 18th. Many hands make light work and your help was tremendous. Also, a shout out to Nelson Orchard who donated all the apples.
