Youth Ministry:  The EVENT!  Nov. 2-4, Cragun's Resort, Brainerd.  All fifth to ninth grade Minnesota United Methodist youth are invited to “The Event,” a weekend retreat! The theme of this year’s gathering is “You are not a rubber chicken.” (Unlike a rubber chicken, you were created on purpose for a purpose as a child of God!) As you might imagine, a rubber chicken will make many appearances at the gathering.
This is an opportunity to connect with hundreds of other United Methodist youth, play crazy games, rock out to an awesome concert, learn about your purpose, enjoy free time in the pool or doing other things with new friends, and compete with your crew to win the Golden Rubber Chicken Award.
Cost is $137.04—$285.22 depending on number of people sharing a room. Find out more at
All Saints:  If you would like to remember family members or friends who have passed onto glory, please add their names to the All Saints Day sheet in the Narthex by Sunday, October 28th. All Saints day will be celebrated on Sunday, November 4th.
