Welcome to all worshiping with us today, especially those of you who are guests among us. We hope you will make yourselves known to those sitting near you by signing the Registration pad. Once it has passed to the far end of the row, please pass it back to where it started. Immediately after the service, please introduce yourself to Pastor Jen.

Children and Sunday School: Children are welcome in worship. We also provide childcare during the 10:00 AM worship service. Our well equipped nursery is for children up to 3 years old. School age children have Children's Church following the Children's Message.  Children are welcome to go to Children's Church or return to sit with their family.
 

Need a prayer for yourself, neighbor, loved one… Health issues, personal concerns, family conflicts.  Contact  the office. All requests are completely confidential. We never share names, only prayers.
 
Office Schedule:  The office is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
 
There is a Charge Conference on the schedule for Monday, June 17th at 7:00 p.m. at Grace UMC (before the regularly scheduled Administrative Board meeting). The purpose for the meeting is to set Pastor Rory's compensation.
 
Farewell Reception:  Following the 9:00 a.m. worship service on Sunday, June 16th, the Administrative Board and the Staff Parish Relations Committee invite you to a farewell reception for Pastor Jen and her family.  Enjoy muffins, donuts, bagels, juice and coffee while in fellowship and celebration of   Pastor Jen’s leadership of our church during the last two years..
 
LOOKING AHEAD: Vacation Bible School.  Sunday July 7th thru Wednesday, July 10th.  This year’s VBS theme: To Mars and Beyond

Based on the French film The Intouchables, this touching comedy revolves around an unlikely friendship that develops between a wealthy quadriplegic man and his younger caregiver, who has a criminal record.
 
Book Club:  Notorious RGB:  The Life and Times of Ruth    Bader Ginsburg  by Irin Carmon & Shana Knizhnik
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has become an icon to millions.  Her tireless fight for equality and women’s rights has inspired not only great strides in the workforce but has impacted the law of the land. And now, comes an accessible biography of this fierce woman, detailing her searing dissents and powerful jurisprudence.

Grace Dinner Group:  Saturday, June 22, 2019. 6:00 PM
Summer is coming which means we go from dining in to  dining out with an open invitation to all to join us with no hosting obligations.
 
Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, June 22nd at 6:00 PM at Morgan's Farm to Table Restaurant in the Best Western Premier Nicollet Inn, 14201 Nicollet Avenue South, Burnsville.  Morgan's utilizes fresh local farm produce whenever possible for their      American cuisine with a twist.  For reservations or questions call Jean Osborn at 952-898-3708 or email at JeanOsbornINMN@aol.com.  Reservations are requested by Sunday, June 16th.

 

Friends, Fellowship & Food:  Morgan's, Saturday, June 29, 2019, 12:00 PM
Lunch this month will be on Saturday, June 29th at Morgan's in the Best Western Hotel at 12:00 noon. Missions
  
Ruby's Pantry. Food distribution will take place on Monday June 17th, at Glendale UMC in Savage.  Volunteers can just show up at Glendale anytime between 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. to help for a few minutes or for a few hours. Ruby’s Pantry is a non-profit organization that gathers food donations from local retailers and brings them to their distribution sites over Minnesota and Wisconsin. For more information on Ruby’s Pantry’s Mission.

How it works:  Every 3rd Monday of each month Glendale’s sanctuary & fellowship hall are turned into a distribution site. Registration begins at 4:30 PM and runs until 6:00 PM.
