Missions

Remember Our Troops
We have the opportunity to send a holiday card to service persons at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and Ramstein AFB in Germany. You may use your own cards or some will be provided soon on the table in the Narthex. There is no way to know if your card will go to a male or female, so please be generic with your writing. Deadline is Dec. 8th.  DO NOT SEAL the envelopes. Kindly place your cards in the basket. Our efforts provide comfort and encouragement to the troops and their family members.

Armful of Love
Grace UMC will be participating again in 360 Communities’ Armful of Love for Christmas time. We are waiting for specific details. In the past we have sponsored approximately three families. A list of gift ideas for the family members will be provided. They will probably be presented in a “choose an ornament or tag” kind of fashion. Once this is done, you can then make the purchase and bring the gift (along with the tag on the gift) back to Grace UMC. The last day for gift drop will most likely be the first or second weekend in December. A wrapping event will take place in the Narthex on a Wednesday evening. That date will be announced in the bulletin. Thank you for your continuing support to this great cause. Direct your questions to Anne Marie Dunbar (annakru@hotmail.com) or Rhonda Brown (rhondamichellebrown@gmail.com.)
