Welcome to all worshiping with us today, especially those of you who are guests among us. We hope you will make yourselves known to those sitting near you by signing the Registration pad. Once it has passed to the far end of the row, please pass it back to where it started. Immediately after the service, please introduce yourself to Pastor Jen.

Children and Sunday School: Children are welcome in worship. We also provide childcare during the 10:00 AM worship service. Our well equipped nursery is for children up to 3 years old. School age children have Children's Church following the Children's Message.  Children are welcome to go to Children's Church or return to sit with their family.

Need a prayer for yourself, neighbor, loved one… Health issues, personal concerns, family conflicts.  Contact  the office. All requests are completely confidential. We never share names, only prayers.

Office Schedule:  The office is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Coffee and Treats happens at 9:30 a.m. The sign-up for those who are willing to provide baked items, can be found on the table in the Narthex. If you have any questions, call Lynn Kilian at 651-315-1647 or e-mail at lkilian311@yahoo.com. Thank you.

Adult Sunday School begins at 9:00 a.m. in Room 6, just to the left of the sanctuary.
Starting January 6th, Short Stories by Jesus: the Enigmatic Parables of a Controversial Rabbi by Amy-Jill Levine
This study is a fresh perspective on some of Jesus' most well-known parables, coincidentally written by a rabbi. Her premise is that Jesus was essentially telling a story and "good storytellers adapt their tales to the needs of their audiences."  Given that, how did the original Jewish audience understand these "stories" and how do these parables still challenge us in the 21st century? You need only purchase the participant guide. A book is available, but it covers more material than we would cover in class. We meet before the service at 9:00 in room six, just to the left of the sanctuary.
PLEASE NOTE: Adult Sunday school will not be taking place on February 9th. After that, watch the bulletins to see when classes start up again.

Sidewalk Shoveling volunteers needed!
Now that the snow has arrived, volunteers are needed to help keep our sidewalks clear and safe.  Our main shoveler from years past is no longer around on a regular basis, so we are definitely in need of people for this chore. Remember, if you need to shovel your walk at home, chances are the church needs clearing too. Shovels are at the church, but you might like your own better. For heavy, serious snow we have a snow blower.  Please contact Gordy Peters for information, 952-435-6189.

General Conference 2020. Kindly see February’s Grace Notes and the table in the narthex for information regarding volunteering for the 2020 GENERAL CONFERENCE being held in Minneapolis May 5th through May 15th.

Chronicles of a Radical Hag by Lorna Landvik
Haze Evans is a local legend, writing as a columnist for over fifty years, for the Granite Creek Gazette. Her past columns were filled with liberal ideas. She lived without censorship and was unafraid to speak her mind about anything and everything.
Haze is unexpectedly hospitalized though and una-ble to write her column. This is when Susan, who works for the paper, has her son (Sam) help work at the paper for the summer and Sam begins dis-covering that this older lady's stories are brave, hilarious, and her political struggles are not too different than today.

Men’s Fellowship: Join us Fridays at 6:15 AM at the Lakeville Cracker Barrel.  All are welcome to connect.
