This worship service explores that question. Our five district superintendents each share a personal story of hope made real in their lives, and their messages are interspersed with incredible musical arrangements provided by United Methodist Churches throughout Minnesota. As we prepare to enter a new year during a global pandemic, this is an uplifting message of hope and possibility.

Other Announcements :
Have you still got an estimate of giving waiting or a pledge to get mailed?
Please remember to wear a mask when you enter the church building . This a critical time to reduce the COVID spread.
The Tuesday Bible study led by Pastor Rory will be suspended as a COVID safety precaution. Our witness of faith is to care for the community good!
Would you be able to help with minor fix it projects at the church, get water softener salt, maybe shovel some snow now and then? Let the office know if we can call on you for some of these occasional tasks .
We are still looking for people with experience in video recording and editing for our services on YouTube. We know you are out there!
Thanks also to the kind and supportive responses for my retirement in June announcement

Worship: November 1, 2020 - Not Just a ListRemember Our Troops Holiday CardsIn the past we have sent holiday cards to service persons at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and Ramstein AFB in Germany. This is something we can still do during these days of Covid. A great simple, family project perhaps. Our efforts provide comfort and encouragement to the troops and their family members.
You may use your own cards or we have some at the church if you want to stop by and pick some up. There is no way to know if your card will go to a male or female, so please be generic with your writing. You can either sign your name or put down Grace UMC (or both if you wish).
Deadline is December 8th. DO NOT SEAL the envelopes. Kindly return your cards to the office. Feel free to contact the office or Judi Bolitho at 612-419-1192 if you have any questions. Thank you in advance for your participation.

Twin Cities Response to the Death of George Floyd
How you can help?
Many congregations and individuals are looking for ways to put their faith into action and participate in immediate relief efforts in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Here’s a compilation of opportunities, both hands-on and financial, involving Minnesota United Methodist churches. They include joining a new conference Rapid Response Facebook group, donating food and essential supplies, praying, tutoring students, becoming a prayer partner, and contributing financial resources to a variety of efforts that are meeting vital needs.

Grace UMC shares faith stories, connects with community The Minnesota United Methodist Conference published an article about the Grace UMC Lenten Series, “It seemed like an ordinary day until I had coffee with Jesus at the Café DuMonde.” Each Sunday during Lent a member of the congregation shared during worship a time when they had encountered Christ. Videos: You can watch two of the encounters with Christ as shared by members of Grace UMC. Grace United Methodist Church
