On December 5th, 2021 Grace UMC opened its hearts, doors and overall building space to a non-denominational African American congregation needing a home to rest and rebuild their ministry. That church was Spirit of Truth Church. As two congregations rooted in different traditions and backgrounds, we both felt the call of Christ to share more than just our building space, but to intentionally begin sharing ministries together. From worship to Burnsville community events, both churches are experiencing the Grace of God and seeking to transform our community.
Grace has two seperate AA groups meeting onsite during the week in our Fellowship Hall. "A Vision For You" meets on Thursday evenings @ 7:30PM and "Hillside AA" meets on Friday evenings at 8PM.
AA is a confidential 12-Step support group for people seeking sobriety from alcohol.
Grace has one Al-Anon group called "Hope For Today" that meets every Saturday morning @ 9:30AM in the Fellowship Hall.
Al-Anon is a mutual support program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking.
